About Us

Columbia Public Schools is the fourth largest school district in Missouri. It includes 22 elementary schools, seven middle schools, and four high schools, plus the Columbia Area Career Center, an early childhood education program, and the Boone County Nature School. Total enrollment is 18,370 students. The school district is fully accredited by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, citing such educational advantages as:
