PedNet Coalition, a local transportation advocacy organization with the mission of creating a comprehensive active transportation network, promoting healthy lifestyles for all, and engaging the community through education and advocacy, has office space that is in need of a fresh coat of paint to help spruce it up. The EPIC Community Involvement Committee will be painting PedNet?s offices on Thursday, September 19, from 3 to 6 p.m. Please wear close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting paint on. Everyone of all ages are welcome. Come support PedNet so they can focus on transportation policy and address its disproportionate impact on the health and safety of underserved people!
Chaired by Kerry Layman, Veterans United Home Loans, and Stacie McCutcheon, First Midwest Bank, the purpose of EPIC's Education and Events Committee is to brainstorm and implement ideas for topics and speakers for all EPIC program events and mixers. This includes professional development lunches, program events, mixers, and membership breakfasts. The committee meets on the third Thursday of Every month at 8:30 a.m. at Veterans United Home Loans (4603 John Garry Dr Ste 12).
Chaired by Keegan Thompson, Simon Oswald Architecture, and Michelle Rippentrop, The Evoke Group, the purpose of EPIC's Marketing and Membership Committee is to promote EPIC by creating marketing content for the division and its events, as well as brainstorming the most effective marketing strategies for the division. This committee also recruits and welcomes new members and implements innovative outreach strategies to encourage continued involvement and membership retention. the committee meets on the second Thursday of every month at 4 p.m. at the Columbia Chamber of Commerce.
