Meals are a common part of both the job search process and working with clients\, and we're excited to welcome Dan Gomez-Palacio\, the Director of Career Services at Columbia College\, as he guides us through this seemingly easy but deceptively complex topic. He will cover how to leverage food in certain situations\, proper ordering at restaurants\, how to enter and exit a group courteously\, dealing with disruptions and how to transition out of a conversation you don't want to have. Through an interactive presentation\, he will provide us with useful advice and tips for a variety of different situations you may find yourself in where food is involved. We're excited to hear Dan's insight on the topic and hope you are able to join us for this engaging lunch to learn more about professionalism when faced with food. \n\nAbout the Speaker: \n\n \n\nDan Gomez-Palacio\, Director of Career Services- Columbia College\n\nDan Gomez-Palacio has worked helping prepare students for their careers since 2000 most recently as Director of Career Services for Columbia College where he has worked since 2010.
