Women's Network January Luncheon 2013

For decades, Gallup scientists have researched the topic of leadership. They’ve surveyed a million work teams, conducted more than 50,000 in-depth interviews with leaders, and even interviewed 20,000 followers to ask what they admired in the most important leader in their life. The results of that research are unveiled in the book Strengths-Based Leadership.  Our January luncheon will provide a brief introduction to the concepts embraced in Strengths Based Leadership, authored by Tom Rath and Barry Conchie of Gallup. 

Our presenter, Dr. Leigh Anne Taylor Knight is a resourceful, innovative professional with more than 20 years of experience in teaching and learning, strategic planning and collaborative leadership.  In 2002, Dr. Taylor Knight was trained and certified by Gallup as a Strengths Coach. Currently serving as Executive Director of the Kansas City Area Education Research Consortium, Dr. Taylor Knight facilitates the collaborative efforts of four research institutions, over thirty public school districts and multiple private, parochial and charter schools. Dr. Taylor Knight holds graduate and advanced degrees in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Missouri, University of Missouri-Kansas City and Kansas University.
