Women's Network February Luncheon 2015

Domestic Violence. What is it? What can we do? Who does it affect?

Do you have a co-worker, friend, sister, or someone you care about that might be involved in a domestic violence situation? Have you ever wondered why some people stay in abusive relationships? Did you know that 1 in 3 women are involved in a domestic violence situation at some point?

All of these questions will be answered during this very informative presentation. Speakers Angela Stiffler and Annie Conn from True North will answer these questions and enlighten you about domestic violence. You will leave with a better understanding of domestic violence, misconceptions about domestic violence, and what you can do to help someone who is in a domestic violence situation.
