Navigating Business Etiquette for Career Success
In today's competitive job environment, getting the job and having the right skills is only the first step on the ladder to success. There are so many hidden skills that an employee needs to navigate - how to dress on the job, attend a virtual meeting, use social media appropriately, or deal effectively with disagreements and problems in the workplace. A successful businesswoman must be prepared for all of these things, but they aren't always taught in school!
The Women's Network Changing The Odds committee's spring job readiness seminar on Friday, April 30 at the Hampton Inn at University of Missouri, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. is designed to address this gap. Our mission is to equip women who may be returning to the workforce after a long absence or entering the workforce for the first time, increasing their odds of career success. Registration is free and includes breakfast, lunch, door prizes and resource bags supplied and supported by organizations across Columbia. Seating is limited so registration in advance is required. Sign up online or call (573) 817-9114.
