Small Business Week will conclude with the Small Business of the Year Awards Celebration. Come out and help us celebrate the Small Business of the Year award. One of the five finalists will be named the 2019 Small Business of the Year!

Finalists for the Small Business of the Year Award and schedule of events throughout the week include:

-Boone County Lumber… Wednesday, May 8, 4 pm, 1100 Rogers St.

Boone County Lumber is a building material retailer specializing in structural and decorative forest products, siding and decking products, hardware and tools.  We are a pro-sales oriented (meaning we focus on commercial and residential contractors and remodelers) building material specialist serving all of central Missouri.  While the professional builder may get the most value from what we have to offer, we make the purchase and use of our products easier than people know it can be.  We offer free delivery in most of our service area and will gladly serve anyone with the best products for their project.  We strive to be a personable, friendly, lumberyard while also leveraging the best technology the industry has to offer for estimating, sales, and delivery tracking.  Even if you don’t make a living with our materials, we can make your project easier.

-Focus on Health Chiropractic… Wednesday, May 8, Noon, 4200 Merchant St., Ste 105

Focus On Health is unlike any other clinic in the area. We utilize a “joint by joint” approach, meaning we don’t just look at what hurts, we look to other areas of the body that could be influencing your symptoms. Our patients benefit from chiropractic treatments, soft tissue manipulation, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, dry needing, in-clinic and at home exercise programs. Once our patients are out of pain, we quickly transition them into the Movement Lab for functional fitness classes. These small group, physician directed classes focus on mobility, strength, and conditioning through the 5 fundamental movement patterns.

It is our clinical mission to influence the health and mobility of our community by empowering our patients to make conscious health care decisions, aligning ourselves with competent and compassionate allied health professionals, and by creating a warm and welcoming environment to deliver clinical excellence and inspiring our team to change healthcare and make wellness the most prescribed drug.

At Fortified an informed consumer is a protected consumer. That is why our slogan is “Protecting the people beneath the roof.” We believe that our job is not about the roof; instead, it is about serving the people that live under it. Our values, mission, and slogan are how our team lives each day and is rooted from our company Scripture ~ Titus 2:7.
