Show-Me-Careers Columbia (SMC) is a grant-funded consortium geared toward fulfilling workforce needs and achieving integrated work environments. To ensure the momentum gained is sustainable, the Columbia Employment Consortium (CEC) has been formed to work with businesses to continue providing consultation and training regarding hiring, retaining, and promoting individuals with disabilities. Show-Me will be presenting at the September 3rd Quarterly Chamber of Commerce Breakfast to kick off a series of trainings to assist businesses with achieving a diverse workforce. The next training will be the ADA Celebration’s October Lunch &Learn emphasizing disability employment on October 27 from 12:00-1:00 at Boone Electric Cooperative.
