Join the Chamber for the final Quarterly Membership Breakfast of the 2016-2017 program year on the most exciting day of the year. The cost per person is $20 online in advance, price will increase on Friday, March 3, and online registration will close on Sunday, March 5 at midnight. After March 2 or at the door, the price is $25. If paying at the door, please have payment at time of registration. We will no longer be invoicing on the day of the event, so please have payment ready. Non-member registration price is $25 in advance or $30 at the door.

A Message from our Gold Sponsor: Forum Development Group

The origins of the Lindner family’s Forum Development Group (FDG) date back to 1980, when the firm’s founder – Jose Lindner formed a partnership for the company to become involved in the development of various real estate projects.  Their original property, Forum Shopping Center, became the flagship of the company’s current operations.

The Forum Shopping Center is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with a rich history dating back to its origin in 1967.  Initially built as a 17,000 SF shopping center on the extreme southwest part of town, the Forum now boasts over 225,000 SF and is located at the corner of 2 of Columbia’s busiest roads.  With FDG’s experience and dedication, the Forum will be an important part of Columbia’s retail landscape for many years to come.

After their full acquisition of the Forum Shopping Center, the Lindner’s turned their sights on expansion and acquired the Nifong Shopping Center in 1998.  Nifong was then fully renovated, saw a replacement of both tenants, and went through future expansions to add 2 free standing buildings.  Shortly thereafter, FDG purchased property on east Broadway and developed The Broadway Shops in 2004 and then its sister property, Broadway Bluffs in 2007.

FDG’s founder, Jose Lindner, passed away September 13, 2010 to a long fight with heart disease.  FDG’s management team includes Jay R. Lindner, Scott L. Lindner, and is backed up by a solid team of administrative and field personnel providing the resources and expertise needed to guarantee the growth of the company.  Their skills, energy and enthusiasm have well position FDG to continue accomplishing their goal of acquiring and operating high quality properties in thriving commercial environments.

Through an affiliation with brokerage powerhouse Colliers International, Jay also provides Landlord and Tenant Representation services throughout Mid-Missouri to further broaden their reach in the commercial real estate world.
