Entrepreneur Panel
Cori Busby has a passion to take a road less traveled and create something of her own. A marketing job led her to create a start-up staffing business called Nannies United. This business connected families to thoroughly vetted, qualified nannies. It proved to be a major success in the Columbia area. However, her husband’s job and her own career change then took them to Jefferson City where Busby became a loan officer. She always knew there was more in her future. She continued to pursue her real passion for health and nutrition. This passion, along with her prior entrepreneur experience, led her to see a void of available healthy food in Jefferson City. Busby began toying with the art of producing cold-pressed juices from organic fruits and vegetables. Her efforts produced a successful 7-day-a-week storefront in downtown called Mo Juice. This store has been a major success and a huge asset to the community.
