Join us for the first of six seminars in the EPIC Lunching Outside the Box 2012-2013 series. The topic will be "Creative Columbia: Understanding the Art Right Under Your Nose".
Can’t find that piece of art that "speaks" to you? Chris Stevens, manager of the City of Columbia’s Office of Cultural Affairs, will guide us through the art scene in our city and beyond to help uncover the art aficionado hiding inside all of us. From the latest news and activities going on with area artists, to delivering a big picture view of where the arts are headed, Chris Stevens will leave us more trendy and informed, and hopefully with a better appreciation of the creativity happening all around us.
The lunch will be held on Monday, July 23 from 11:45 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Quality Inn (1612 N Providence Rd). Cost is $10 if you register online by Thursday, July 19 or $13 at the door. Lunches will be ordered based on RSVPs. All no-shows will be billed full amount.
