DESCRIPTION:Following the recommendations of the CDC and Chamber staff\, the Chamber's Executive Board has postponed Chamber events and programs through Friday\, May 15\, 2020. As information becomes available\, we will notify the community via social media\, email\, and on this event page. Thank you for your flexibility. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin the Columbia Chamber of Commerce for Showcase Day 2020! The day will begin at 11 a.m. with a seminar and breakout session\, sponsored by Missouri Employers Mutual. The seminar will be given by nationally known speaker and author\, John Livesay\, who Livesay's keynote\, Better Selling Through Storytelling\, will teach attendees how to develop empathy skills that win clients\, how to create a real connection with clients and how to use silence to get a commitment. Following the seminar\, Fresh Ideas Food Service presents Showcase CoMo 2020! The showcase event will be held from 1-6 p.m. During the event\, local businesses will showcase everything from products and services to resources and involvement opportunities\, giving those attending the chance to experience all that Columbia has to offer! Then\, from 4-6 p.m.\, food & beverage vendors will join the showcase and create a happy hour experience during the event\, by providing samples of the products that their make their businesses unique. The event is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend!
