DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Chamber's Agribusiness and Bioscience Committee\, join us for a Food For Thought Seminar\, "Why You Should Embrace GMOs"\n\nIf you're confused about food today\, you're not alone. Join Dr. Alan Wessler\, a vice president at MFA Incorporated\, as he provides a fact-based presentation on the importance of modern technology as it relates to agriculture and your food supply. Helping cut through consumer confusion\, mainstream scientific and medical organizations are coming out strongly in favor of genetically modified crops. Joining them are unlikely allies like the editorial boards of the Washington Post and Los Angeles Times. Why? Because the science is in. Hunger's the problem\, not GMOs. \n\nThe Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. with the presentation from 8 - 9 a.m. Cost of attend is $12 per person (with advanced registration\, or $15 at the door).
