As is tradition for this event\, Columbia businesses host a table for $200 for \;four of their employees to enjoy a dinner with \;four members of the Boone County agricultural community. \; Businesses also have a basic sponsorship opportunity\, $100 for \;two of their employees and \;two members of the agricultural community. \; This year’s banquet will be held on Tuesday\, March 18\, 2014 at Hilton Garden Inn. \; The evening consists of entertainment\, fellowship and networking as well as \;the presentation of \;the $1\,000 Don Day Agribusiness &\; Bioscience Scholarship to a Boone County high school senior\, recognition of the 2014 Agriculturalist of the Year\, and honoring our Friend of Youth award recipients.
