LETITIA JOHNSON serves as field faculty in community development for University of Missouri Extension. She has been headquartered in Boone County since late 2014, and has been with MU Extension since 1996.
Community development involves processes "where community members come together to take collection action and generate solutions to common problems" (UN). It seeks to empower individuals and groups of people with the skills they need to effect positive change within their communities and organizations.
