While I'm not native to Columbia, it has now been my home longer than St. Charles where I was born and raised. After attending college at MU and moving to a couple of different locations with my corporate management position, my husband, Neil, and I landed back in Columbia where we've raised three children: Keely (25), Faith (23) and Trenton (20). I've been a teacher with Columbia Public Schools for 14 years and recently moved into a new role which will allow me to do what I love most: connecting students at the Columbia Area Career Center with businesses in our community to gain rich, robust work-based experiences.
When I'm not working, I enjoy playing games, reading, and spending time around bodies of water.
