The Columbia Chamber of Commerce Leadership Visit is an annual fall community trip designed to expose Columbia/Boone County leaders to the best ideas of progressive, nationally recognized communities throughout the United States.Mark your calendar for September 19-21, 2023, for the Chamber’s annual program. Goals are to:
- Provide the Columbia Chamber delegation the opportunity to openly discuss with leaders from Madison the challenges and opportunities their community is facing,
- Introduce our delegation of business and civic leaders to innovative programs and impactful projects that may be adapted and implemented in our community,
- Facilitate exchange of best practices and lessons learned among participants from both communities, in order to address specific issues or concerns in Columbia,
- Offer participants high-level networking and relationship-building opportunities.
