The Fair Missouri Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation formed exclusively for charitable, education and scientific purposes. These funds benefit many in our community through scholarships.
Don Day Agribusiness and Bioscience Scholarship: This scholarship was established to recognize students in Boone County seeking to further their education in an agricultural or bioscience related field. As agriculture and bioscience industries continue to grow in Missouri, the Fair Missouri Foundation finds that promoting agriculture and biosciences and all of the associated industries is essential for the continued health of business and the economy in Boone County.
Russell V. Thompson Scholarship: This scholarship was established to honor Dr. Thompson upon his retirement from the role of superintendent of the Columbia Public Schools. The scholarship is open to all Columbia high schools and is awarded to three students in the amount of $1,000.00 each.
Leadership Columbia Scholarship: The Jose Lindner Scholarship was established in 2010. It provides tuition fees for the Leadership Columbia program.
Leadership Visit Scholarship: The Leadership Visit scholarship is awarded annually to a young professional generally employed by a small business to attend the Leadership Visit learning experience.
