Women’s Network's Changing the Odds committee is hosting a seminar on Saturday, June 3 at Alternative Community Training (ACT), 2200 Burlington Street, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for women who are entering or returning to the workforce, or for women who are simply looking for an opportunity to learn more about personal finance and furthering their education. This seminar includes breakfast, lunch, door prizes and advice on building a budget, understanding credit and banking, creating your nest egg, financial aid information and opportunities to visit with educational institutions as well as financial resources. The program is available at no charge to participants. Seating is limited so registration in advance is required by calling (573) 817-9114.
